Applying Early Notification -- How To Apply for Financial Aid

<p>If I am applying under the Early Notification deadline, do I have to send the CSS/Profile or anything to UNC early? Looking at the site, it seems like you don't have to send that until March 1, even if you're applying early.</p>

<p>Yes, WCD - you are correct. You do not apply for financial aid until later - just be sure you submit the application by the March 1 deadline. I would definitely wait until after your parents complete their tax return. My son filed with preliminary numbers because we were anxious to submit the forms and then we had to send in a correction. Although you will find out if you are accepted EA in January, you will not find out if you will receive financial aid until April. Good luck!</p>
