Should I apply early action to colleges even though my GPA and scores are well below average? Do colleges see applying early as you're interested in their school or do they just take all the well-qualified applicants?

It depends on the school. At Top 20s, they’ll only take the strongest applicants EA – students they would take in RD despite all of the competition anyways.

If I were you, I’d apply to your top choices either ED or RD. ED to show interest and RD so you can get your GPA up before you apply.

I’d say go for it! You have nothing to lose.
Do u have ECs??
From what I’ve read, colleges see early action applicants as people leaning towards that school.
Sometimes people who have extremely good stats get rejected, and people with not-so-great stats but good ECs and essays get accepted. You never know with these colleges… =)

Alright thanks guys! :)
