Hello everyne I'm deciding weather or not I should apply early decison to Columbia University or regular decisions. I know this sounds a bit cliche but CU has been my first choice ever since I can remember. but I'm feeling kind of down because looking at the statistics, it show that mostly 10% of people in their class get accepted into CU and that kinda puts a damper on things for me but I still have hope that even though I don't fit the statistics that there's still a chance for me.
I know these are a long reach for me but how long is it really and what's the chances of me getting accepted into these Universites:
Columbia University -ED
Harvard Univeristy
UW Madison
Marrquette University

This is my status from the the past 2 years in High school:

Sophmore 2 semester: all regular classes one Asv Engilsh, GPA 3.4

I will be the first to go to College in my family and our income is lower than $60,000 Oh and i'm an African American girl if that helps any thing.

I would just like to know what I can do to improve my gpa as a Jr. b/c I know it really low for some of these Schools and my chances of getting accpeted.
