Applying ED

<p>I was wondering if applying ED would significantly help my chances. I personally think I'm on the border if i apply regular. </p>

<p>I pretty much like William and Mary equally, but I'd rather attend UVA. So do you think I could get in ED to William and Mary or UVA.</p>

<p>GPA: Freshman Year: 3.0 (UW)
Sophmore Year: 3.7 (UW)
Junior Year: 3.9 (UW)</p>

<p>I will graduate with 7 AP classes.
I also attend a FCPS(not TJ though)</p>

<p>SAT: Verbal 710 Math 800 Writing 700 for a total of 2210</p>

<p>SAT II: I did ok on these. I got a 700 on Lit, IIC, and USH. I think will retake thse in Nov though.</p>

<p>EC: I have over 200 hours of community service at a local hospital and am a member of a couple of clubs. I am also fairly active in my church. None of my EC activities really stand out and aren't very good. I also read a lot of classic books though. My summer activity will probably consist of reading Proust's A Remembrance of Things Past.</p>

<p>Applying ED always helps, and I'm sure that you'd benefit. You're test scores are great, but how's your rank?</p>

So do you guys think I have a signifantly better shot at UVA doing ED rather than Rd?</p>

<p>Yes. ED always helps. If it's your top choice, do it. Knowing that you're in at your top choice will make your senior year much more enjoyable. :)</p>
