Applying ED1 Emory but with weird GPA....

Ok，I applied Emory ED1. My current GPA is 3.72 which does not sound high.But I only got 2 B‘s and all others are
A and above in my four years of high school and there are many classes during these year. The reason for this is because my school has A and A. Getting A means having an 4.0 and A is 3.5 . Only 1 or 2 people in my class can get A* in a subject so it makes getting 4.0 even harder.

Will this affect my admission？Will Emory University recalculate my GPA？

@YXZ9978. No, it shouldn’t but it depends on your class rank or the perceived rigor/intensity of your school. Is the school known by Emory/typically sends applicants?

@bernie12 Hi,thank you for reply.I have a class rank of top 5% in my class of 70 people. My school is a pretty new and small private school，so nobody ever applied Emory University.
