<p>Is anyone applying EDII? I didn't apply anywhere EDI but realized that Davidson is my top choice and I have a much better chance to get in EDII. </p>
<p>Anyone know what the admission rate is for EDII? Is it the same as EDI? THANKS</p>

<p>i really hope so! i know their regular admissions rate drops to aroudn 27% so this was my shot. i cant wait until Feb 1st!</p>
<p>haha, I know what you mean. My SAT scores aren’t as high as a bunch of other people on here that have posted… so this is basically my shot, too. I can’t wait either!! I wish we could just fast forward 12 days! lol.</p>
<p>oh my gosh, only 12 days! i go to prep-school and most everyone goes to Ivy’s or the like but i fell in love with Davidson. My SATs are actually higher than their website statistics but my GPA is a bit low, but that really reflects my school and its rigor. I hope they really take that into consideration. Also, no one from my school has ever gotten in regular which is startling so I figured i had nothing to loose and all to gain by applying early. Three of my friends also got in ED so that would be amazing to join them. I cant wait!</p>
<p>Wow, that’s pretty awesome. haha. They definitely do take rigor into consideration… the admissions counselors I’ve talked to said that was the first thing they consider. And SAT scores were the last thing, lol. I was pretty happy when they said that (: My score isn’t terrible or anything, it’s just my math score that kills me… haha. No one from my school has ever gotten into Davidson… but then again, I go to an EXTREMELY small school… we only have 19 people in our graduating class, lol. I think only two people have ever applied to Davidson (regular) and they both were wait-listed.</p>

but 8 days! i cant wait. have you heard of other people applying EDII? I cant find anyone, which i guess is a good sign for us. haha we will see. i think the thing i’m most excited for if i get in is how i don’t have to kill myself anymore in school. and my winter exams are situated so i wouldnt have to stress about them at all! it would be SO amazing.</p>

I don’t think I’ve seen anyone else EDII… but I’ve seen a lot of people going regular decision. haha yeah, that’s definitely a good sign for us (: Do you know what time on Feb 1 they’re posting the decisions? And yeah, I’m definitely looking forward to getting to relax too!! The second semester of senior year is basically a waste of time haha.</p>

<p>well for us, we’re on trimesters, so i’m holding out for senior spring. my friends applied EDI and found out on December 14 at 8pm which was a day earlier than the “posted by” date. so potentially, we could find out on jan 31st! but i’m not entirely sure… i know of one girl that applied regular from my school but no one i know applied early. apparently, no one form my school has ever gotten in regular which is quite scary!</p>

<p>That is pretty scary! my college counselor is really hoping I get in because it’ll be our school’s first acceptance ever to Davidson! haha. I’m getting so nervous though… I realized today that I’ve started thinking and talking about it like I’ve already been accepted. That’s so bad, lol. I don’t think I’ll be able to concentrate on anything else this whole week… ughh. haha.</p>
