Applying for Clubs

I’ve heard that at Northwestern you have to apply to pretty much any club in order to join. Is that true?

There are hundreds of clubs and organizations at NU. There are also Intramural Sports activities. Some take everybody. Some have tryouts. It depends on how competitive you want to be.

Almost everybody at NU does something outside the classroom / dorms.

yes; some clubs get pretty competitive. be sure to pinpoint the clubs you’re interested in and go to info sessions so that you can write good applications if you really want to join them.
