Is anybody on here applying for the fall of 2013? I just wanted to talk to some other people about why they like the school!

My son is. My husband and I are also alums

I’m going to applying for master in fall 2013.

I’m applying. I like it mostly because there’s a neuroscience major. That’s pretty rare, unfortunately. Especially in Georgia, since I can’t stand Emory.

Son clicked submit on his application last night. He really liked the school after a visit in April and it went from 5th on his list to 1st.

I’m applying and I’m going to work on it this weekend. I feel so lost! Also @standrews, did your son do the short answer questions? If he did what where they?

Just wondering when Baylor will start updating students on their admission status? My daughter submitted her single choice early action application on September 18th. Do they really wait until November 1st or have they started sending out acceptance letters? She has already been accepted by the other two universities that she applied to, but Baylor is her first choice.

My daughter contacted her assigned admission counselor. she said they start reviewing early applications on November 1 and that she should receive a response by December 1. I love how responsive they are to emails.

My son applied for Single Early Action and was notified of his acceptance today on his goBaylor account. I thought they wouldn’t start reviewing until Nov. 1 but the admissions counselor said they issued 100 acceptances today. Check your account daily and you might be surprised.

Thanks Baylormom190. Congrats! She’ll keep checking. Did they give any indication how often they will be issuing acceptances?

I’m applying because they are the main branch for the medical school I want to go to…
First I need pre-med lol :D

I am applying too. It’s not my first choice, but I liked it more than I thought I would on my visit.

MomofBaylorGirl: The admission counselor didn’t say when they would issue another round of acceptances. So far we have paid his housing deposit and the website says he can list his preference on Nov. 1. He has also been able to get his e-mail set up. Again, I hope all goes well for your daughter.

Thanks baylormom190. This is so helpful. Daughter just got accepted to Baylor this morning! Very exciting! Just paid the deposit.

Congratulations. The son of one of my friends heard today, too.

How did your son get his PIN #. She didn’t get an email…just saw acceptance on her application page

Sent in my transcripts today. Only optional item I did was a rec from my Guidance Counselor. I might do a resume, not sure…

I first thought of Baylor as a safety, but now I’m starting to fall in love with the school after a visit. I hope I get in!

I don’t think they can get their PIN until they are cleared to register for classes. Later last week his goBaylor page showed all of the things he now needs to do like getting his health form completed, completing a “Parent Information” section, setting up his email account, etc. Just keep checking.

Well, he’s gotten an invitation to the Invitation to Excellence ( and been accepted ) But no official acceptance yet. Can I assume he will eventually be accepted formally?

My son also was accepted for I2E. I just assumed that means he will be accepted to Baylor. Maybe the ones who got acceptance letters put Baylor as only choice.
