@madirocks - The Cornell midterm report form is preferable to the Common App one, which is why Cornell has their own form. I’m sure they will accept the CA form, but like someone previously said, there is Cornell-specific questions on their form.

@collegebatman - From the announcement posted on their website, I think it’s rather impressive that yours was downloaded just one day after you submitted it, seeing as though their office is so busy on the deadline date. And if they extended the deadline, then you definitely have nothing to worry about.

Just now have received my app id.
transferstudent2, you will receive it soon.

But, oh my God, so worried and thrilled about the decision. ILR is my first choice and my dream, I don’t know what to do if will not be admitted. Good luck to anyone applied.

For those of you received your AppID a while ago, what does your homepage look like? When they received the materials, did they just add it below your name, etc.? As in, what will the page look like when they receive one of the materials?

I submit it like 3 weeks ago with instructor’s evaluation and my GED. However, they only check my transcript. USPS just confirm that my midterm report and highschool transcript have been delivered.
To Iron: Hi Iron, next week is Cornell’s spring break, isn’t it?

I really want to call to check if they receive my high school transcript. My high school transcript was sent from Vietnam and the shipping fee costs a lot of money. So they don’t extend the deadline for this year I think. Even though there’s a rumor about the extend deadline but they didn’t post it on their website. We may get decision faster than last year.

use a card if you can. seems like the office is swamped as it is with mail. oh, and i realized my CA transfer essay was 777 words exactly. lucky 7s?

and castiel, i read somewhere that your essay was like 1500 words long for CALS? that’s huge! mine barely met the mininum haha

@Castiel - I paid the application fee online, and Common App shows that Cornell downloaded it on Monday, but my AppID page still says it’s missing. Maybe there’s just some lag time??
