Applying for financial aid past deadlines

I’m applying for financial aid at Mt Holyoke and Bryn Mawr. I got my FAFSA in at the beginning of the month and PROFILE in a couple days ago. I haven’t gotten the approval/whatever for the IDOC yet. Mt Holyoke’s site says that April 15 is the last day for need-based aid, but elsewhere it says the deadline was sometime in February. Anyways, am I going to get significantly less by applying later? Is all the money gone? Will I get anything? Am I too late?

You will find out. In general, one should file them asap even before deadline to maximize the grant.

Call the colleges. They will tell you the implication of a late filing.

I’ll be calling them on Monday but about when would I receive my financial aid package?

The schools will be able to tell you when you will get your aid package.
