I wanted to share with any of you that are applying for Housing for 2014-2015 that we have a couple of guides that walk you through the process on our homepage:</p>

<p>The first guide will walk you through the application itself. The second will help you write your roommate profile, search for, and select roommates.</p>

<p>i thought I had done everything correctly, but I did not receive an e-mail yet on my ds’s mybama account??? How long till that occurs? I don’t want to pay twice!</p>
<p>Okay, I logged back in, and I have three checkmarks one of which is application complete! Whew!!</p>
<p>Help! I can’t get past screen 11 Roommate selection. I don’t want to choose a roommate, but I keep clicking save and continue and it takes me back to that page. I want to move on and make deposit. I’ve been on this almost 30 minutes and still haven’t finished.</p>
<p>I got stuck in the same spot. Finally just clicked on the “deposit” at the top and it took me to that screen.</p>
<p>Click on Page 9 at the top of the screen to pay deposit. I had to go there manually. It didn’t automatically take me to it.</p>
<p>Acckkk… just realized somehow it propelled me over the deposit screen into the roommate screen. I could have paid much earlier. I didn’t update the emergency contact info in MyBama yet. Will the housing app still go through?</p>
<p>I didn’t update mine either but the application says “complete.”</p>
<p>Sorry for so many messages. I just want to make sure I have this complete. When I hover over the #s, the only thing that shows “complete” is #1 Welcome, and #9 Deposit. Does that mean it is complete. I’m not normally this technically illiterate. Haha!</p>
<p>We updated emergency contacts through the MyBama student tab. It still didn’t show up on the housing screen, but the deposit shows to be paid.</p>
<p>I still haven’t gotten an email confirmation though. Did anyone yet?</p>

<p>FYI - I checked my credit card online and it was charged, so I guess we are paid!</p>
<p>No email confirmation, but payment shows up on credit card. This is my third and last time to send one off to college. But they are three very different people and three different universities, so we’re relieved to have this step behind us.</p>
<p>When can current students apply for housing and when do they find out if they got a room?
My daughter LOVES living on campus.</p>
