applying for housing online

hey guys!
i was applying for housing online, but first it said that it requires me to confirm my personal details for my profile. everything's rite but for my permanent mailing address it's all blank and the website doesnt let u fill in stuff. i was wondering if other ppl r hvin the smae problem? should i just go ahead and confirm my profile?

Mine was the same...I just went ahead and entered my profile and submitted the app. I mean, they obviously know that I have a home and a mailing address so they should contact me if they really need it....

i think it is the same for everyone so who knows :)

thanks so much! =)

I was wondering, if I sign up for housing online and click "submit," does that mean I'm also agreeing to attend Cornell? Or is this just a deposit? For example, at UT Austin, you can sign up for housing with a deposit fee of $50 while not accepting admission (or for that matter, even before they tell you if you're accepted or rejected)...

But I'm not sure if it's the same at Cornell

thanks

It is the same, because when you finish the application it says that this does not guarantee/confirm your attendance.

Don't worry, that Housing site is not 100% yet. For now, registering for housing has to be done by May 1 and it's not first-come, first-serve, so you can do it April 30 without any difference between a kid who did it right now.

are you sure it's not first come first serve? i just did mine and am worried that i waited too long. i want to get a single in a coed dorm and am afraid they will put me in the all girl housing since it has lots of singles and i didn't get my application in till now.

my d did not send in anything until April 29th last year, asked for a double and got a single in a co-ed dorm...
