<p>I'm a business undergraduate from Germany and I would like to apply for a marketing summer internship in New York City, Chicago, Boston.. I'm absolutely open to other cities but since I depend on public transit there aren't many options, right? What else is there?
Renting a car isn't a choice, I haven't been driving for the past two years- that's not going to end very well..!But costs for housing, paid or unpaid internship- these are no obstacles for me. </p>
<p>I would like to know what my chances are as a foreigner, I mainly apply for start ups. I've already gained experience in this field in a part time job and an internship, I did well on my TOEFL and I've spend a lot of time in the US in the past.</p>
<p>Also I was wondering what to expect after sending an e-mail inquiry- how common are e.g. interviews via Skype?</p>
