Applying for joint degrees?

I was waitlisted for LSA and accepted into the A&D program. I'm not very confident on my chances of being accepted from the waitlist, but I know that I don't want to major in only art for undergraduate, so I might decide on another school (even though there is a really small window to decide).

I was wondering, how difficult/competitive is it to get into another school/LSA for a joint degree program after I'm already enrolled in A&D for about a year? (It says that I need to finish about 30 hours of credits before applying)

Thanks

Going from A&D (or any other school) to LSA is much easier than the other way round. I would say take the offer from A&D, then apply from a joint program later or switch out. I would also contact the administrative office for A&D to see how feasible a joint program is, assuming it’s a BFA program.
