I feel like it depends what school. I have heard applying in the spring is better, because generally there are less applicants spring semester.

Yeah… thats what i have also heard.
But i really don’t get it. I mean…a whole lot of people are advising me not to apply for spring admission… their saying that … if i apply for spring than i will miss a whole lot of classes because the admission session usually starts in fall …and which means i will miss one whole semester…
i really dont understand :(

is this true… or not …? :S

…???

The problem with spring admission is exactly the same as its benefit: most people don’t do it. For that reason, you miss out on a lot of things. It basically will feel like transfering into a new school halfway through the year; you miss all the introductions at the beginning of the year, and you don’t get the orientation that other students get.

You also run into problems if you want to take classes that, for some reason or another, are not offered every semester. Your schedule will be a semester later than everyone else’s, so it’s a good bet that you won’t be able to take some of these classes when you would like to.

but whats the benefit of applying for spring?

Some people say that it’s easier to get admitted if you apply spring semester. I’m not sure that’s true, though.

The admission system of colleges is very stupid…
i mean why do colleges offer admission in spring when they know that the students are going to be in trouble later on…such as missing classes…etc :(
