I was admitted to UT-Austin as a transfer student for COLA History for this semester (Fall 2010), but decided to enroll at another university here locally. I was admitted to UT with a 3.69 GPA over 51 hours. I regret this decision, but by the time I had made up mind it was too late too change anything for this Fall. I have therefore reapplied to UT and A&M (where I also was admitted for this Fall).

I now have a 3.52 GPA over 61 hours. My last semester at community college was not great compared to my other semesters there. I had two B's and a C, and I dropped one course.

My question is, I realize my chances have been diminished some, but by how much? I realize I am right at the "3.5" mark for COLA, but does that mediocre final semester at community college hurt me?

I realize no one may know the answer to this question, but I thought I'd see if anyone had any light they could shed on my situation. Thanks.
