Thanks for clicking on my post. I’m in a little situation here and I’m overly worried so I hope somebody might be able to clear this up for me. I am currently attending a CCC and have applied to a CSULB for Mechanical Engineering. I was accepted for the Fall semester of 2019, however I will be going a 6-month deployment lasting from June to early December 2019 (I’m in the Guard).
I found out a couple hours ago that CSULB does not defer enrollment so I would have to apply again for the Spring Semester of 2020. When I apply for the Spring semester of 2020 in August, I will have one additional withdrawal on my transcript( dropped my E&M Physics course because I overloaded myself with 22 units). Is it possible that even though I was accepted for the Fall 2019 semester, I can get rejected for the Spring 2020 semester?
I’m positive my Spring 2019 GPA at my CC will be 3.0+ but I’m afraid that withdrawal will haunt me for my Spring 2020 applications. I will have all my IGETC, pre-reqs and recommended courses completed EXCEPT for E&M Physics.
