<p>im applying to a summer internship and my brother had gone to it 3 years earlier. I was wondering whether mentioning that would be good/bad/neutral to my chances. Im sure if I do, his old mentor would put in a good word for me. Is there any downside to this? maybe they want to find more diversity so they would take this as a negative? thanks</p>
