Hi everyone,
I’m a student currently enrolled in the IB program, but my GPA is pretty low for BU’s standards. BU is a school I’ve wanted to attend for years, so now that the time has finally come to apply, I’m trying my hardest not to screw anything up.
I’m seriously interested in Questrom, but even applying ED with my rigorous curriculum, I’m fairly certain I won’t get in. I’ve written a very solid essay for the “Why BU?” type question on the application, and it’s specific about my enthusiasm for one of the more uncommon programs Questrom has recently put on offer. I really want to keep this essay on my application to show that I’m excited about things only BU can provide, but I’m debating whether or not I should just write it about other parts of the school and apply directly to CGS (I’d still be happy going here). I would only do this if applying to Questrom would lower my chances of acceptance to CGS should I be rejected; this being as opposed to those of me applying ED directly to CGS. Does anyone know if this is the case?
Thanks!
