Applying for this upcoming fall

Hey guys :)

I'm a community college student who is looking to transfer this upcoming fall. I have already spoken with a counselor and everything is looking good.
I am filling out my SDSU application as we speak, and I have a couple questions to ask:

Will my chances of getting into the school increase if I add an emphasis/concentration under selected major? I'm a biology major and as far as I know, it is quite an impacted major at SDSU. I am wondering if I choose an emphasis/concentration will my chances improve rather than someone who is applying and only puts "general biology no emphasis" ??

Do my chances decrease if I do not selecting housing on campus? I have a free place to stay off campus, that is why I ask.

I applied last fall for SDSU as well and was denied because I was missing a couple required courses for biology. Will this hurt/improve my chances if I am applying for the following year?

Is SSID the same as CSID? I searched online but couldn't find anything relating to a community college student transfer.

My parents received their degree in Europe. What would I put for their education section? Which one would suit me best in getting accepted? (I know all these little factors add up).

Confusing part: When I am entering the classes that I took at a community college, do I have to put the ones that are not CSU transferable (non 100# classes?). Also, do I exclude these classes when calculating my GPA/total credits earned?

When I have retaken a class, do I just exclude the one with the lower grade as if it doesn't exist?

Is there a good website to calculate my GPA? My counselor recommended I use an online website to calculate my GPA; however, I can't seem to find one where I can put it more than 6 classes...

Last but not least, I would like to mention that at my first community college, my counselor told me that I am qualified to exempt one of my history classes (I took 1 more than required) in which I received an F and never made up. This is the only non-passing class that I have on my transcript and it looks really bad. I am submitting my application tomorrow. When I do my supplemental application (and if/when that class becomes exempt from my transcript), is it possible to add in the supplemental packet that the aforementioned history class is exempt from my official transcript, thus, my GPA is higher? Or does it not even matter at this point (from their perspective). I will still do it either way, in case I have to appeal a decline.

*noted: I will be going to the transfer center tomorrow at the CC; however, I wanted to double check with everyone on here to make sure that I'm doing everything correct and proper.

2) won’t matter to admissions
5) you tell the truth
6) Ask your CC transfer adviser

5) Right, but that is my question: Does a foreign college degree count as “some college” in the application?

Thanks for the response

yes it counts.

College is college, it doesn’t matter where unless the question specifically states “in the US”.
