I am a current high school senior starting my college applications this summer/fall and was wondering if anyone has applied/been accepted to University of Cincinnati’s BS/MD Connections dual admittance program (I am an in-state resident, just fyi). I have only seen one stat of someone admitted which is a little higher than mine, however, I have just retested on the ACT after only one previous score so that has the possibility of going up. Also to keep in mind my school only offers 4 AP classes and is a very small class so that reflects on my GPA. I am enrolled for college classes this year, having 9 credits already, which should increase my weighted GPA significantly (being on a 5.0 scale).
Have a look at my stats and tell me what you think my chances are and what I could do to increase my chances:
ACT: 31
GPA 4.0/4.19
AP: Chemistry (3) AP Language (4)
Taking AP Literature and AP Calculus next school year
9 college credits (from sophomore year)
Extracurriculars:
VP of Student Council (9th)
President of Student council (10th, 11th)
Treasure of National Honor Society
Excellent rating at Ohio State Science Day
Secretary of FCCLA school chapter
Weekly Volunteer with BIG AND LOUD Parkinson’s Physical Therapy Group
