<p>What is the application process like? I'm a little confused about the applytexas thing. If UT were the only Texas school one were applying to, is this still the form used? I get the idea that it is basically like the common app but for Texas public schools. Is that impression correct?</p>

<p>Yes applyTexas is still used. And it is similar to the common app but just for Texas schools.</p>
<p>Stats are hard to predict especially for OOS. </p>
<p>The ACT range is 25/31 and the SAT range is 1670/2060.</p>

<p>SAT (out of 2400): 1959
ACT Composite: 30</p>
<p>That is general. Depending on the desired major things change. Engineering is higher.</p>
<p>Thanks. Sounds like it might be easier for OOS students to get admitted than in-state students! Especially with that rank % that is required for in-state.</p>
