Hey guys,
is anyone applying this fall to Yale? Have you started your application? I am currently studying in England so I was wondering if anyone has an idea how can you calculate your A-levels grades to GPA? I know it is not necessary and that the university will calculate it for you but I wish I know the boundaries so I would not waste time by applying into university like Yale...I am freaking out already, not ready for application process!!! Hopefully there is someone out there freaking out with me?

I believe it’s a 2-step process. First, convert each A-level grade by following this rubric: [WES Grade Conversion Guide](Country Resources - WES.org)

Then, take each of your grades and enter them into this GPA calculator:
[Yale University GPA Calculator](http://thegpacalculator.appspot.com/college/yale)

Thank you @gibby for information, it gave me a rough idea :)

Unless you’re school gives you a specific GPA then you are not supposed to put a GPA into the CommonApp. I applied to Yale this year from the UK and was waitlisted. They have a group of admissions counsellors who cover different areas and are aware of the education systems in those areas.

Good luck!
