Applying late past deadline: Most still take apps

Well, I screwed up. I procrastinated past the march 1st deadline, and past the march 15th. Collegeboard.com says that ga tech transfer is rolling, but ga tech says feb 1st. I submitted the 1st half of one colleges app @ 12.04 am march 2nd, logged back on on march 15th to check the status and part II was NOT SUBMITTED! Another school required supplementals by jan 7th (but it wasnt' listed on their online app, just on the departments site).

So i called around, so far every college i've spoken too says i can still apply for fall. (although some have restricted it to mail in only since their online system is closed) The half and half above accepted my online application 15 days late and is ok with getting my supplemental s by the end of this month! The jan 15th supplementals said to go ahead and send them since they are still going through transfer apps. (i'm not sure if i should be bragging any names in case reps are lurking o_O )

Anyway the point is. If your late, even a month or more late, and you REALLY wanted to go there, call them up! Or maybe just fill out the online app and mail them a copy anyway! Chances are you will still be considered.

I don't know if this applies to freshmen so beware. Just trying to brighten some peoples day.

Yeah I've seen that happens alot, but also remember that the school may be keeping tabs on who applied late (even if they say they aren't) and you may already be at a disadvantage.
