Applying late to University of Michigan

I didnt apply to early action because I figured I wouldnt get in. But now Ive realized, you never know unless you try. I plan on writing my essays next week (thanksgiving break) and submitting my application in late november/early december. Does that hurt my chances that Im applying to rolling admissions instead of early action?

GPA: 4.436
rank: 5
-4 APs Junior Year
-now 2 APs Senior year (last years schedule was too hectic)
-i also took a community college class in the summer and Aced it!

ACT: 25
-ive taken it 3 times and i score about the same
-just not good at standardized testing

Additional Pros
-Chaldean girl
-first generation
-lower income (if that helps?)

Do you think im okay for Michigan? or is my ACT score and applying to rolling admissions hurting my chances big time?

ACT score is kind of low. Do you have any SAT2s?

According to UMich’s Common Data Set <a href=“Office of Budget and Planning”>Office of Budget and Planning; first gen will help you as much as your ACT score and ethnic status is not considered (not to mention Chaldean would be considered caucasian). Income is irrelevant to UMich except in providing FA. Your level of interest is important. That ACT score will hurt you though. Did you take the SAT yet?

UMich is rolling admission?
