Applying now and then possibly deferring?

Okay, so I am currently a Freshman in High School. At the end of this school year I will have completed High School English 9,10,11, and 12. I am also going to completed Physics, Biology, and Chemistry. I am also taking my AP Calculus BC test in May.

This has left me with no more classes to take at my high school or local community college. I have talked to my parents and my school councilor several times, and the last time I met with her she recommend that maybe I apply to some of the colleges I want to attend. She suggested I apply this fall, as if I were a Senior, and see if I get accepted. She talked about possibly deferring the acceptance at that point, if I choose to, so I can keep my options open. She left this decision up to me. Scheduling for next year has started, and she told me I need to decide as soon as possible, so she can schedule me in the right classes.

But of course, this has been a tough decision for me. I have a sister and a brother who will be graduating next year, and will be applying to colleges this upcoming fall.

What would you guys recommend? Should I apply next year?

If there’s no more classes for you to take at your high school, why is your counselor scheduling your high school classes?

She is planning on enrolling me in some additional AP online classes. She just needs to know whether to put me into the schools system as a Sophomore, or a Senior.
