applying/test scores - timing

I'm applying to 5 or 6 schools. I've already submitted one which is due on October 1. I'm waiting on ACT scores from September, taking those again in October, and will be taking the SAT a couple more times. Right now, I only have one SAT score from January of my sophomore year (I was an exchange student during my junior year).

All of the applications ask for my test scores. They will be receiving my new scores when they are available. Is it better to send my applications in now, since they're pretty much finished, with just the one test score or should I wait to get my newer scores and type them into the application? I'm just worried they might reject upfront and not wait on my new scores. BUT I marked on them that I was taking the test again and listed the dates..

I hope this made sense! I'm just anxious to submit them already!

I'm in the exact same situation - and am looking for a bit of guidance myself. Ive debated back and forth which action would be more advantageous, and I can't decide.

First impressions mean a great deal.

I am also curious about this.

BUMP.

If you want to submit the application now, it's OK - just list the future dates of the tests without the scores. The schools will wait for them.
