<p>How much more competitive is it apply for a UC school if you're not in state? I want to go to UCSD.</p>
<p>I personally applied to four UC schools back in the day
I think it is slightly more competitive for out-of-state students especially at UCSD, UCLA, UCB
but do not get too discouraged
they like your high out-of-state tuition stipends</p>
<p>Since UC is begging for OOS’ers to pay the exorbitant fees (to balance the state budget), it maybe even easier to get in from OOS than it is instate. </p>
<p>But I gotta ask, why would you pay $55k, unless it its for BME?</p>
<p>I have a military parent, so a lot of my tuition will be covered by the GI bill.</p>
