<p>IF I WAS TO APPLY TO ALL 8 IVY LEAGUE SCHOOLS, WHAT ARE THE CHANCES THAT AT LEAST ONE WOULD ACCEPT ME?</p>

I am currently serving as a mentor to first-year members.
- Leader of Peer Mentoring Club.
The club centers around acclimating new students and freshman students to the high school environment. I served as group leader and as a mentor to the incoming students.
- Leader for a local summer service project. We worked with several volunteer organizations in the city on this summer in-town mission trip. I have participated in the event during summer 2013 and summer 2014.
- National Honor Society. I was inducted to the elite society and have me the academic and community service standards.
- FBLA Member
- Music. I have taken 2 years of clarinet lessons and 3 years of guitar lessons.
- Sports. I have played club basketball for all 4 years of high school and have received awards for best field goal percentage and best free throw percentage.
- Entrepreneurship. I am currently in the development process of a new online clothing concept, and I am expecting to launch the concept soon.</p>

I am writing on the failure prompt in the common app and I expect it to be stellar. Writing is my strong suit so i would expect all of my essays to be well-written.</p>

<p>I would rethink the strategy of applying to all 8 Ivy League schools. Each has a different vibe, and it is unlikely hat you would be equally happy at all of them. Life in Hanover is different than life in Morningside Heights. Brown’s Open Curriculum has a different appeal than Columbia’s Core Curriculum. Your college list should be built upon what appeals to you, not anyone else.</p>

<p>Blindly applying to all 8 schools shows, IMO, a lack of focus in your application strategy, and I suspect that lack of focus will show somewhere else in the application, which will not help you in the admissions process.</p>
