ah forget it

I would say you are in at
Ole Miss
Alabama
Tulane
Pitt

Prob into all the rest. You are at the right level for all of those schools.

Florida, out of state, is very hard to get into.

Good Luck,
Cheers

What are you planning to major in? You look like a strong candidate for all of those schools, but if you’re applying into a more competitive college of study your chances could go down, especially since you are OOS.

thanks alot guys! btw im proly gonna be a bio major.
i really appreciate your insight! i didn’t know florida was that competitive but they DO have a very small oos student population and all. i also really like(d) texas but they took away their national merit scholarship this year so i don’t really expect to get a decent deal from them-but ima go ahead and apply…do you guys think i have a better shot since im applying from a state that generally doesn’t send a lot of kids oos?
again, thanks!

UT as an OOS would probably be the only one that I would say might be a reach, otherwise, matches for all.

thanks bulletandpima! glad some of you guys took time out of your lives to help me out…i’ve almost applied everywhere except for UT, ohio state, and illinois. if i can get college apps done before november 1st, it’ll really take a lot of stress out of my senior year lol

OSU you are in without a doubt. My nephew went there as a recruited athlet, and our friends son goes there now. They both love/d it.

Of course as a MD/VA/NC fan I would add 3 more to the list.
UMDCP, VATech and NCST. They all depend on your major, but one thing that is great about UMD and VATech they are “true” campus feelings.

Another one would be UMiami. DS had higher stats, not that much higher, and he got 90K in Merit over 4 yrs. (it was his safety).

A reach I would try for would be UVA and UNCCH. Must state that believe it or not Mississippi works for you because for OOS they want a diversity, and not take just from a couple of states, so if they look at diversity from across the nation, that helps…i.e. UMD is trying to get away from the illusion that all of their OOS comes from NJ/NY, thus, they will take you over a higher NY student to expand their national name.

PSU College Station might be a match/low reach for you, but PSU will def. take you.

If I get a higher SAT score, then I’ll roll with what you said and dish out an app to UNCCH and Miami

UMIAMI with those stats should be a safety, I would think you are in right now, merit might be lower, but def in.
