What do you think about a 1330 and a 3.3 u/w gpa?

Hope you have a good chance to get in, so then i would have a good chance too. My stats are about the same as yours.

I'm applying for the CFA though, so I suppose my grades wouldn't count as much as for the other schools. I do have a reason for the drop in my grades though, which I will be sure to make known. And, I expect to break a 1450 on the SAT in January...hopefully they will count it. :)

Starynight, DS is a student in CFA at BU. He is a music major. His GPA was about the same as yours, and his SAT's were a bit lower (although he had a 730 on the verbal). His audition actually carried a substantial amount of weight. He received a very nice music merit scholarship. Are you CFA music, art or theater?

I was wondering... when BU notifies you of acceptance/rejection, do they email you or do they mail the letter to you?

You will receive a letter in the mail but on teh same day the letter goes out they also post their decision on their site. You should have received an email after sending in your application with the link to the site.

Have they ever given out their Early Decision responses earlier than Dec 15?

Rage.. so then I should be expecting an email too?

I am not sure if I received an email saying the decisions were up. However if you search BU's sit they have a link to the site where you can see the status of your application. Do you have that?

yeah, I do. I just found it. Thanks for your help!

sry guys that must have been long, and annoying to read. But i'd very much appreciate advice on whether i should improve my sat1's or sumthing, since i'm aiming for the trustee scholarship.

Thanx in advance!

It sounds like you're within the range for the Trustee Scholarship. According to the website, the average SAT was 1517 or ACT 33, and SAT II writing of 770. Only 36 applicants were selected last year.

wow...

any idea how many applied kinshasa?

No, but maybe BU will give you that information. My S took the Latin Scholarship Exam and those results won't be available until mid-March. Last year about 500 students took that exam. He applied early decision because BU fit him perfectly and we hope he'll get some merit aid even though he didn't apply for the Trustee Scholarship.

Hey tell me,on what topic are u writing the trustee scholarship essay?

I'm using the Ghandi quote, you?

I'm using Asimov's quote

I am alos using asimov's quote
But the problem is,todays 29th DEC and I havent yet started writing anything yet
