To be admitted to CALS, I know they want to see a student who is interested in agriculture and sciences

But I'm not interested in science, I just want to be in the undergrad business program which is in CALS

So does it hurt my chances if my supplement has nothing to do with science?

no it doesnt. if ur interested in business you’ll be applying to CALS for their AEM (appllied economics and management) program which is not related to science. so, it wont matter if your supplement has nothing to do with science.

Rumbleroar001 - I posed the same question to a Cornell representative because my D is interested in Communications which is also in the CALS, and CALS recommends science and math SAT IIs but my D is not a math and science person, the counselor said they would not expect a student interested in a non-science major to submit science and math related scores, but would be looking for an English Lit SAT II for example, it’s the same for ECs, they want to see ECs related to your major area of interest. He even said that Cornell is working on moving all the business majors into their own school (possibly to thwart all this confusion in the future) Don’t worry! You are fine…
