If you need any more info just ask

You seem to have a fair chance as long as you don’t apply for finical aid and bring you psat score up few points. I am also a sophomore applying to PEA. I hope we both can get in.

You can’t tell someone to just not apply for aid. If you need aid, you need aid.

You can apply to Andover. They have need blind admission

But I really want to be in zuming fengs class

I now Exeter has need-blind admission. If your parents earn below 200,000. If they earn below 75,000 tuitons is completely free.

You seem very well qualified. Exeter is a very competitive school, but don’t be intimidated though you seem to have a fair chance.

While it is true that families earning less than $75K are offered full financial aid, Exeter is not “need blind.”

<a href=“Economy Strains Exeter Fin. Aid Budget – The Phillipian”>http://www.phillipian.net/articles/economy-strains-exeter-fin-aid-budget

Just a heads up-- the graduating class of 2017 is the largest class Exeter’s had so far, so it’s expected that the admissions office accept less new Uppers than usual.

And you might not get placed in a Mr. Feng class! He teaches the 31X course for Preps and New Lowers, but won’t necessarily teach new Uppers. He does lead math club, however.
