I'm currently finishing up my last year of undergrad work in Anthropology at a Cal State with a cumm. GPA of 3.4 (and I will be taking the GRE later next month)

For the past 5 years, I've worked as an American Sign Language interpreter, as such, I've worked as a linguisitc and cultural mediator, and have been very fortunate to work with people from varying demographics- races, ages, religions, sexual orientation, etc..

This Fall, I will be applying to graduate programs in CA to pursue a MA and PhD in Socio-Cultural Anthropology, and plan to work in Community Colleges (and hopefully in the future work at a University). My main interest for research is technology and society- especially pertinent to today's rapidly dynamic enviornment...

What are my chances of being accepted into UCLA's Anthro Grad program? (All pre-reqs are completed with "A"s, I've done volunteer work with Deaf people at Goodwill of Orange County.) Please let me know what you think!
