So, what do you think my chances are of getting into Georgetown?

Thanks :)

your grades and extracurriculars look good, the only thing i would comment on is raising the SAT just a little to solidify yourself in the range of students of applying. that being said, a 1340 is not awful by any means, i plan on applying as well and at the moment i only have a 1350 before the october SAT. other than that, i would say your IT specialist job, web design experience, and math skills really put you in a good area for admission to mcdonough. with some good essays, recommendations, and maybe a higher SAT, i would give you a very good shot

Thanks for the feedback.

I will probably report my ACT rather than my SAT just because I felt a lot better about the ACT. I have taken the SAT twice, both times with only a little prep, and actually did 20 pnts worse the 2nd time.

I’m going to prep for this fall’s ACT and SAT but I think I will be able to pull off a solid 32+ on the ACT while my SAT will stay in the 2000-2100 range.

Your ECs and grades are great! I think you’ll get in to Georgetown even with your SAT scores. They’re not that low, and everything else makes up for it.
