<p>Anybody know there acceptance rates and how many people they accept at junior year? I'm still a little unsure about Andover. It's a little like the Kleenex or the Coke of American boarding schools - The most recognizable 'BRAND'. I wanna go for a little something out of the ordinary - A school that's really diverse, and one that can truly help me to apply myself. I'm only applying to 3 for junior year, (Applying in September 2012, entry in 2013). So, Andover or no Andover? I'll be applying to 3 schools here in the UK too, so that's six in total. I just have this feeling about Andover - It's like, way too brand-namey (just an opinion guys!), and way too many people get there hopes up about it, only for them to be crushed. Hotchkiss may not have the same strengths, as well as Deerfield and Lawrenceville, but they seems like really great schools. Lawrenceville's my number one choice followed by Hotchkiss and Deerfield.</p>
<p>I think you should apply to Andover too. Since it is “brand-namey” it might look better on college applications.</p>
