<p>I'm practically finished with my application, but I have a few questions on my prospective major.</p>

<p>I want to major in business and/or sports management, and I also want to take some mass communication classes and work with WTIU (IU's TV station).</p>

<p>I chose the exploratory major on my application because it sounds like a great way to take classes in all of my interests and take some fun electives. </p>

<p>But I'm also interested in doing the sports marketing/management FIG. So could I do this as an exploratory major...or do I have to be majoring in SM?</p>

<p>You can be in the sports marketing/management FIG no matter what major you are. However know that joining a FIG means you have to take those three courses that go along with that particular FIG. So I'd take a look at those classes that your FIG offers and make sure you're okay with taking those classes first semester. </p>

<p>So yeah basically, whether exploratory or business/sports...doesn't matter. You can join the FIG if you want.</p>
