Applying to LSE as an international student-GPA question

<p>I have a question regarding LSE's GPA requirement. They list a 3.5 GPA from US universities as the minimum requirement. How strict is this? I am looking to apply to some IR graduate programs.</p>

<p>I have 3.37 GPA (3.6 in History+IR) from a top 3 US university.
Has anyone heard of people getting accepted with a similar background or with GPAs below 3.5 </p>

<p>I don’t know for sure, but I would say that if everything else is strong, you might still be considered. Have you tried emailing their admissions office?</p>
