Applying to med school from the College of Humanities & Social Sciences

Would this look bad? I plan on majoring in psychology, possibly at Carnegie Mellon University. I've been accepted into the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, which contains the psych major. (CMU has a college of Humanities and Social Sciences and a college of science, instead of one big arts+sciences college). I know it doesn't matter what you major in, but applying from the College of Humanities and Social Sciences must look a bit strange. I also posted this on the CMU forum, but I'm hoping that I can get a more objective response here. I hope someone knowledgeable could answer my question. Thanks :).

If - and I have no idea what this is like at CMU, but if - the CHSS is like majoring in a non-science, then it's not a problem in the least. I'm an Econ major and it's been an asset rather than a liability.

Just make sure you can take science courses (premed requirements) without hassle.
