applying to mich early an ACT question

Will applying to mich early be any beneficial besides knowing if you got in by december 24th? I'm getting different answers from my friends about whether or not applying early will give you a better chance of getting in.

also- will umich look at my december ACT scores and does umich require a ACT writing? I've already taken the SAT.

Applying early gives you a much better chance of getting in. It is rolling admissions, and spots fill up fast. Last year, in-state people with 30+ ACT scores, 3.8+ GPAs were being wait-listed because they waited for the 'regular decision' deadline and so many spots had already been filled by the 'early response' people.

and OOS people with 32-34 ACT and 3.7-3.8 were waitlisted early response....apply early....or you have little chance at all....
