I am interested in applying to both the M&T program at Penn as well as the regular admission at CAS for the class of 2015. Is this possible?

no, that is not. you can apply to M&T and pick Engineering school or Wharton for your “backup.” If you get into your backup, you can always transfer to CAS.

Sorry, but I realize my original question may not have been clear.
I am interested in applying to both of those programs (M&T and CAS). I would then like to choose one or the other based on which one I get into if either of the two (Or if I get into both, choose one of them). Is THIS possible?

necrophiliac your answer may still be correct, and I thank you for the response. However, I just want to be sure so I am making my question clearer.

I believe you must choose one as your first choice and the other as your second choice. If you don’t get into your first choice you will be considered for your second. Thus, you must decide before applying which one you prefer.

I may be wrong.

Necrophiliac’s response is still correct. You can only apply to one program or school, and you can specify a single-degree school “backup” to be considered for if you apply for and are not admitted to a program. Because M&T involves Wharton and SEAS, those are your “backup” options. If CAS is your second-choice school, but you want to apply to one of the coordinated dual-degree programs, your options are Huntsman or LSM (both very different from M&T).

Thank you peachaso and CCAnonymous. That was exactly what I was wondering. Your help is much appreciated.
