What happens if you apply as a Nursing Major and get declined? Can you have a back up major as a second choice if you really want to go to SDSU?
Unfortunately, no. SDSU doesn’t consider alternate majors for Nursing applicants (or possibly any applicants.)
The good news is that Nursing decisions for this year are just now out and with the several acceptances posting their stats in the 2023 applicants thread you have a great idea of what’s needed.

You can search it for Nursing if you click into the thread and then click the magnifying glass in upper right.
My advice is to apply liberally to various BSN direct admit programs including SDSU and see what happens.
