<p>I'm only applying to transfer to one school, so should I make the essays in the regular commonapp writing section (meant to be seen by all schools) specific to this school in particular? Two supplemental essays are required, and I have already written about why I wish to attend this university, would it be overkill to do the same with the other essays?</p>
<p>There’s no harm in making your transfer essay school-specific, but if you do, I would avoid talking about it too much in the supplemental essays. Still, it really depends on the prompts. If one of the supplemental questions asks why you wish to transfer there, consider being more general with your CommonApp essay.</p>
