can i apply from new york? because hte british system of school is very different (A and O levelss +2's, etc). i just thought it would be kind of cool to at least apply, i mean saying you to go one of those schools sounds so cool.haha. anyway yeah im just a curious junior, and no im not jsut going to apply because the name sounds cool.

You can certainly apply. However, even though you say you have other reasons, it certainly does not sound like you have a grasp of the British system. Research the schools and then deal with the application process.

yeah i havent really looked into it. but my friend who got into wharton called me a few days ago saying he got into oxford, so i was just curious.

Wasn't the deadline back in september, though? Or maybe I'm just crazy. XD

The deadline has already passed, at least for this round. But the OP said he/she was a junior. So they can apply next year.

I seriously recommend researching the British system, especially Oxbridge. The system is very different from a US one. I think you have to be sure you want to study there and know what you are getting yourself into.

You should also realize that UK is very numbers based, that's really all that matters. On UCAS there is a list of international qualifications expected, including one for the US. If you are not doing IB they expect top scores on AP exams. I'm not sure about the programs, but you may need to sit an entrance exam. You would have to check the details of the specific program.

Just seven days till Cambridge decisions!!!

I'm assuming you applied to Cambridge then? If so, good luck!
