Applying to Penn for Junior Transfer?

Well, I know that I have slim chances of getting into Penn for sophomore transfer, so I'm thinking that instead of taking the guaranteed transfer to Cornell, I could stay at Gtown for another year, and apply again next year. I REALLY want to go to Penn, especially since I've recently become more interested in business. I know that even if I don't get in, I'll still be perfectly content at Georgetown. So, I'm pondering applying for junior transfer if i don't get in, and if i decide i don't want to go to Cornell.

So, for those that are applying for Junior transfer to Penn, or those that are junior transfers to a school, what do you think it's like being a junior transfer? Is it worth it, only being there for two years, even if you get that degree(i know that either way i'd LOVE being at Penn, on the campus, near Wharton, in the College, etc.)? Especially as a pre-med, do you think it makes sense? I know that I'd take summer courses at Penn next summer if I get in to get some advanced science courses in. So, I'm just looking for advice from other junior transfers at Penn and applicants to Penn and other schools. Thanks for any help.

I've been wondering pretty much the same thing. I'm a sophomore right now, and just sent in my transfer app to Penn. Basically the one concern I have is trying to fit in transferring as a junior. While I hate it at Williams, at least I have friends here. Anyone who transferred to Penn as a junior want to comment on how easy it is to get involved in social life when you start off two years behind?
