Applying to Princeton and Ivies in general?

Before i get onto my question, here is a condensed version of my stats:

M, rising senior, below 30K income
Class Rank: 1/~550
GPA: 4.0 unweighted

SATs:
2270 (800 writing, 770 reading, 700 math) facepalming ensued after seeing math score x_X
800 Chinese, 680 Math Level 2 (definite retake), physics soon

EC's:
(my weakest point, compared to some of the great stuff people post imo)
3 years Tennis
1 year Math Club (Secretary)
3 years CSF
2 years MUN
founder and president of Guitar Club
Played in a band for 4 years, performed ~30-40 shows
placed second in guitar competition held at local college
job at local tutoring place
library services volunteer

So my question is this:
Should I be looking at applying to Ivy league schools (or more specifically, Princeton) this fall? Do I at least have a small chance at acceptance at Ivy schools?
I know my numbers are decent, but my lack of solid EC's worries me....that, and the fact that none this year's 5 valedictorians got accepted :]

thanks

You’ll never know unless you apply, and your stats make you a qualified candidate. You are right, separating yourself from the pack will be tough, but if you really nail a passion of yours in your application (through your essays, especially), then it will help. It looks like guitar/your band is one of your passions, so I suggest that you bring that out in your application. That’s what I did; I didn’t have any amazing ECs, really, but I really brought out my passion for music through the trombone and even sent them a CD recording. I’m sure that helped me get in.
