Applying to SCEA, EA and ED school at same time

I always wonder what happens if any applicant applies to all three: SCEA school, ED school and EA school at the same time. How do schools come to know about the violation?

  1. your GC would have to be an idiot to allow you to do that (since he/she has to sign off on any SCEA or ED agreements you submit) and 2) the colleges speak with one another…

I believe colleges share a list of ED/SCEA applicants with each other.
You can apply to the ED and the EA school, but if you apply to SCEA you can ONLY apply to that school.

Some SCEA schools only ask that the SCEA applicant not apply EA to other private schools, as well as not apply ED anywhere. Some EA schools ask that the EA applicant not apply ED anywhere.

Check SCEA and EA restrictions individually for each school that you consider applying to.
