APPLYING TO SDSU FALL 2018

So I applied to SDSU for Fall 2018. Here are my stats:

Transferring from Cuyamaca College
Major: Business Admin
AA-T/AS-T: Business Admin (Received in June 2017)
GPA: 2.9 (Bumped up to 3.0 when using the ADT GPA boost)
Golden Four: Yes
LOCAL (I live in the Rancho San Diego area)

I am also currently taking classes at SDSU through open university (BA 310 and BA 370)

What do you guys think? Do I have a chance at getting admitted?

Also applied for Fall 2018

Transferring from Citrus college
Major: Kinesiology
AA-T/AS-T: Kinisiology (exercise science)
GPA: 3.56 (not counting this semester grades)
Golden Four: Yes
Los Angeles area
Im hoping to get a 3.7ish before i transfer. My science GPA is a 4.0 atm. Still quite a while before we find out if we get in though

Applied for Fall 2018

Transferring from Fresno City College
Major: Anthropology
AA-T: Anthro
GPA: 2.5 (Not counting Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 grades)
Golden Four: Yes (after Spring)
Fresno -Central Valley area
I’m hoping to get a 3.0 before I finish. Counselor has told me that with an AA-T you may not get into your CSU choice but you get into a different one. That’s not exactly what I wanted, geographical location is a big factor to me.

Transferring from Saddleback College
Major: Public Health
AA-T/AS-T: not for transfer but health science
GPA: ~3.3
Golden Four: missing critical thinking (taking this spring)
not local

Question for any experts here: does getting a D+ in a senior high school course lead to rescinding of an admission offer at SDSU? (It was calculus, and my son ended the fall with a 69.4%–I am hoping he gets a slight “bump” from his teacher to a C- before grades are posted). I have been on the SDSU site and I have seen the policy, but I don’t know how strictly this is enforced for incoming freshman with a single D+ on the transcript post admission. Thanks for any insights.

@BayAreaLocal:
This is directly from the SDSU Website:::::

Keep Your Grades Up!
Admission is based on self-reported information from your Cal State Apply application. Once you are provisionally admitted, we will verify this information against your official transcript. Please make sure to report accurate information.
Your admission may be rescinded for reasons such as the following:
-your GPA, test scores or course grades are lower than what you reported on the application.
-you miss any admission deadlines.
-you earn D or F grades in any coursework (not just A–G courses) taken during your senior year.
-you misreported or did not complete a required course.

Yes, a D can result in having your acceptance rescinded and SDSU has done this in the past. I suggest you get your son to talk to his teacher and try to get some extra credit/homework to bump that grade up to a C-.
