I only recently found out about the Weber’s College and I’m really interested. However, the priority deadline has passed long ago (back in January). Now admission is based on space and the application is due on March 30th. Is there any hope for me?

During the wave of acceptance for the Honor’s College, I recall someone being wait listed (not sure of the person’s stats). Most of the people I saw get in had a weighted GPA over 4.0 and 1400 SATs; however, they do look at the essay you did for the Honor’s College application and extra curricular activities (much like UCs do). A lot of those who got into the Honor’s program probably got accepted to UCs, so it just depends upon how many pick SDSU. I was really impressed with the Honor’s reception and think it is a wonderful program. You might want to do a search on this site for Weber’s College. Good luck!

@tacogal123 I applied before Jan 15 for the SDSU Webers honors program but they sent me an email in late feb saying that since you didn’t get your admission decision when they were evaluating honors applications, you’ll have to wait till mid-April! Absolutely not fair! I got accepted on first week of February. :-<

I wish I’d known that we could apply to WHC before receiving our decision cuz I would’ve applied during priority then.
@lisa2018 I got accepted although they reviewed my application in March/April but I had submitted my application in January. The only con was that I couldn’t apply for scholarship…
I got waitlisted too :((
