I need some clarification on EA vs. ED. As I understand it now, EA is non binding, while ED is binding. And, you can apply to as many as you want EA, but only 1 ED (as it is binding). Is this correct?

depends
certain schools allow multiple EA
some schools (yale is the first that comes to mind) only allow one EA
they're often abbreviated SCEA (single choice early action)

Stanford is another SCEA.

Oh, ok. Knowing CC, there must be a list of all the SCEAs. Can someone supply a link please?

The only two mentioned that have SCEA are Yale and Stanford.

And some EA schools, like BC and Georgetown, will not allow you to apply EA if you've also applied somewhere else ED. Some EA schools don't care. And most ED schools don't care if you apply elsewhere EA.

Clear now?
